Symptoms That May Require Urgent Evaluation

● Sudden vision loss or blurred vision

● Flashes of light or new floaters

● Eye injuries or trauma

● Chemical exposure

● Severe eye pain

● Painful red eye

● Sudden swelling or infection concerns

● Foreign body sensation

● Sudden double vision

During Office Hours

If you are experiencing an urgent eye concern during normal business hours, please contact our office as early as possible.

We make every effort to accommodate urgent same-day appointments whenever appropriate.

After-Hours

Care Limited after-hours emergency care is available for urgent ocular conditions that cannot safely wait until the next business day. Established patients of the practice are generally prioritized for after-hours emergency care.

If you need to speak with the on-call doctor after normal business hours, please call our office and follow the prompts to leave a message. Please be prepared to provide:

● Date of birth

● Phone number

● Brief description of your symptoms

The on-call doctor will return urgent calls as soon as possible and help determine the most appropriate next step for care.
