I went for a dry eye/mgd check, and I wasn't pressured into expensive treatment or told my condition is worse than it actually is. I know that sounds like it should be typical but it hasn't in my experience elsewhere.  It's usually more along the lines of "if you don't deal with this now, it's going to progress beyond repairable...".  That wasn't the case at Truvision, which made me glad I chose it over a couple of the other options in the area. The entire staff was helpful, at this location and the Raleigh one I called (closer to me but doesn't have the dry eye setup apparently) initially for my appt. After a lot of searching, I decided to try TruVision in Morrisville to have my eyes evaluated.  My first visit with Dr. Weyand was like nothing I ever experienced.  While he was examing my eyes, I was asking questions.  He would show me pictures of inside my actual eye, and talk with me in length explaining why I was having as issue, etc.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice. Awesome staff!! #1 100%.I was supposed to have my migraine glasses mailed to me since I live 3 hours away. Somehow they got lost in the mail. I called the office after waiting an extended amount of time to see what the problem was, but they had to contact the carrier(s) & get some more info. They called me back and they apologized for my not receiving the glasses, even though it wasn't their fault. Then they had another pair made for me at no charge, which is fantastic because I really need them, and they cost nearly $1,000. They were courteous, caring, and super friendly about going the extra mile to make sure I got my migraine glasses. Such a great place with the best staff around!!! I love this place. Not only do they carry fantastic frames, the staff are all wonderful. Specifically the staff member who measures and helps with frames(I think shes named Grace?). Dr. Weyand and his team were fantastic. After more than a week of eye irritation, Dr. Weyand discovered and removed a tiny exfoliating bead from a face wash that was trapped under my eyelid. The relief was immediate. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to find the root cause of the problem. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Phenomenal! The office runs like clockwork, and the staff are great. I received a thorough examination. Dr weyand has a great demeanor and was very patient and communicative. The staff at Truevision are always friendly and helpful. The eye drs give you their full attention , you don’t feel rushed thru your appointment . The ophthalmology services and clinical care here are excellent. The doctors are highly efficient, and there is no long waiting time. The front desk staff are also very kind and considerate—they take my child’s school schedule into account when arranging appointments and do their best to ensure we receive timely treatment. My daughter has been fitted with orthokeratology (OK) lenses here, which are reasonably priced and effective for myopia control.
